This time of year is so like cilantro … you either LOVE it or HATE it! (If you follow me on Facebook you know which side of the fence I’m on with cilantro.)

For me, in the Chinese astrology system, this is my lowest energy time. It’s really a tough time for me to get through. Especially since this year is my first Holiday season on my own.

I’ve really been feeling a lot of sadness and disconnect because I‘m not with my family.

It’s the first time I haven’t celebrated with my children and it’s HARD.

Now is a great time to reach out to the Angels! I’m going to pull a few cards and see if they have a message to help us through this time of chaos and craziness.

Ready? I’m going to pull 3 cards.

The first one is where we are blocked, next is our action card and then we get the outcome card …

Ok, our first card is  … POWER.

This is where we’re stuck. So many of us feel the pressure from society, from our peers and most especially from our families. There is so much pressure to be happy, upbeat and to do it ALL!

We get steam rolled by the advertising and hype. We have to buy presents for this person and that person. It is so easy in this overwhelming time to just lose yourself, to lose your power and lose sight of why you’re here and what you’re supposed to be doing.

Our action card … MIRACLES.

That’s what this time of year is all about!

Focus on the miracles that are all around you.

Stop focusing on the expectations, the advertising and the craziness … let it go.

Our outcome card … COMMITMENT.

Commit to yourself. Commit to nurture yourself and allow these miracles to be in the forefront of your experience rather than society’s expectations.

We get in our own way. We lose our POWER and feel like we are supposed to do things rather than really BE in the moment. The moment of the MIRACLE that is right NOW!

If you’re not committing to be you and to fully own what it is you want to do with your time and energy than that’s when things go haywire!

Self-care is so critical at this time of year … whether it is taking a bath at the end of the night, reading a good book or getting out and exercising.

That’s what I want to ENCOURAGE you to do!

Feel free to reach out and let me know what this season is like for you. I’ll be sending you LOVE and prayers.

I wish you a wonderful Holiday Season!!

I’m sending you big love and big hugs,

Hello Lisa. I have been in the same boat for several-several years. I know Christmas is to be filled with Joy and Happiness. But i lost all that in my twenties yes a long time, but it seems that this time of year just brings in heart aches. How does one get rid of diappointments and heart aches. I do not like Christmas at all. As for New Years goes the same. I dont mean to bring heart ache more to you. Do wish you a Merry Christmas and may your family be able to join you
